About Anything Environmental

Loader — Environmental in Paget, QLD
Anything Environmental is a family owned and operated business. Jason and Jo are helping our community recycle more, rather than letting waste go to landfill.

In 2018, Anything Environmental was awarded the CRP – Collect Refund Point for the Queensland Government CoEx Scheme – Containers For Change.

With more than 11 Community Drop and Go bin sites over the Mackay and Whitsunday regions, this partnership is going from strength to strength.

Anything Environmental also has a depot in Paget for walk-in customers. Plans are in place for the Paget Depot to take other recyclable materials in the near future, such as scrap metal, batteries etc.
Our Depot in Paget is open 6 days a week at 19 Interlink Court.

Monday to Thursday 7.30am–5pm
Fridays 7.30am-4:30pm
Saturday: 8.30am–12.30pm
Closed Public Holidays
Helping the environment by providing convenient recycling services for residents to return their empty glass bottles, plastic bottles, cans, and flavoured milk containers. We also assist community groups to raise money.

Many organisations, schools, clubs and sporting groups collect containers, through their members and local residents ties, to help raise money for all kinds of events, equipment and community services.

Recycling Facts

  • The energy saved by recycling just one plastic drink bottle is enough to power a personal computer for about 25 minutes.
  • It takes 25 two-litre plastic bottles to make a large-sized fleece jacket.
  • As plastic decomposes, methane is produced, which is 20 times stronger than carbon dioxide.
  • Plastic bottles, not recycled, but thrown away irresponsibly are responsible for killing birds and marine life.
  • Aside from helping the environment, you can make money recycling plastic bottles, by taking them to a CRP Depot or using a community Drop and Go bin near you.
